Chapter Update

Hi Everyone,

We have some exciting things going on in our chapter and I wanted to give everyone an update. Our next meeting with be Wedneday, Aug. 23rd at St. Joseph's, meeting rooms 1&2 on the second floor. Dinner starts at 1830 with the lecture at 1930. The lecture will be presented by Olivia Fallis-Merrick, RN, BSN, an MSI (med/surg intermediate) nurse at Memorial. A flyer is attached. Please register on our website so we have an accurate count for dinner. 

At this meeting we will be announcing our new board of directors.  Besides the usual roles on a board, we have added spots for membership chair, educational coordinator, nurse planner, website coordinator, and Region VI representative/treasurer.  

Speaking of Region VI, the conference is coming up soon on September 11th and 12th. Information, conference brochure, and registation is on our website. I will also have brochures at the next meeting. Our chapter will be well represented with lectures by Jean Humphreys and Wendy Cohen.
