Posted over 3 years ago by David Laumeyer
Good morning everyone, in an effort to support our nursing field, a CNS student from another region is conducting an IRB approved research study and needs YOUR help to complete the items linked below. It wont take much of your time and your help and participation is tremendously appreciated! See below for more information.
Participate in a Study About Moral Distress in the ICU
The purpose of this study is to assess critical care nurses’ levels and causes of moral distress during the COVID-19 pandemic. A secondary aim of this study is to compare moral distress levels based on demographic and work characteristics.
To be eligible for this study, you must be a licensed nurse (LPN, RN, or APRN) who has spent at least 50% of your working hours over the last six months providing direct bedside care in a critical care setting. You also must be a staff nurse at the facility you currently work at, not an agency or travel nurse. Participation consists of a one-time survey and should take approximately twenty minutes.
This research study is being conducted by a Clinical Nurse Specialist student at the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Nursing. Please contact the principal investigator, Johannah Acito, RN, BSN, at jsa00338@sjfc.edu.
